Comprehension of the "Cafe Ter [随笔杂谈]

This is a famous painting of Vincent van Gogh. In this picture, main scenes are dark blue starry sky, blue and yellow  cobbled-road,a bright yellow cafe, houses in dark blue and light blue, and people. The face and expression of the consumers, the waiter and the passer-bys are vague. Main colors of this painting are blue and yellow. 

Blue is a kind of clod color, which is usually applied to express the feelings like depression, sorrow, cool, calm, etc. In this picture, blue is mainly used to depict starry sky, the houses in darkness and part of the cobbled-road. All these blue parts are indicating the feeling of calm, silent, which show the feature of the night. But it also reveals sorrow and depression. The whole blue parts can be understood as reveling the dark side of our daily live and difficulties we may encounter. In our life 

Although the blue parts make this painting seems gloomy, the application of yellow changes the tone of this painting. Yellow is a kind of warm color, suggesting warmth, passion, love, happiness, etc. Painters use this color to utter their positive feelings.

Look at it from the top to the bottom, the blue becomes lighter and the yellow becomes brighter. Amongst these dark blue houses, these exists some tiny spots of warm yellow lighting, which looks just like shining hopes in the desperation. The cafe is in a large part of very brilliant yellow, most of the tables outside the cafe are occupied. Consumers' expression are blurry, but it's clear that they are in green, red and yellow clothes and all those colors represents energy and passion. All these scenes are suggesting rorty and pleasant emotions. People are seemed very positive and relaxed. 

By comparing the blue part and the yellow part, people can see that although the night is falling, people are still happy. The whole painting seems comforting and encouraging. It encourages people to be optimistic when they are in difficulties and always believe that the future life can be warm and enjoyable.

The Pursuit of Happiness [随笔杂谈]

It seems that Will Smith is deemed to be a perfect entertainer to reveal hardness of our life. Either in the "seven pounds", or in the " the pursuit of happiness".

It is a movie inspired by a true story. Maybe the main character in reality is really called Chris Gardnar, a determined man with indeed hard will.

At the very beginning of the movie, pieces of the "the Declaration of Independence" flashed and the key words-"pursuit of happiness" is highlighted. Scenes that people are busy walking on the crowded way and no one pay any attention to a desperate begger who is lying in the street deliver the coldness of humanity.

My U advised me to watch this movie. It was his words that " the moment that the father waked up his boy is so warm..." made me decide to watch this inspiring film. It's said that, never act in a film with children or animals. If one is suggested to spend time on a movie has children or animals in, he should never hesitate to go for that work.

In the darkness, a little boy, Christopher, was still sleeping. Will turned on the desk lamp, touched his tiny boy, and said gently that"Time to wake up, man.". My softest part in my deep heart was touched by a tiny delicate finger of a baby called happiness. One endeavors hard to seize opportunities, build livelihood and protect our beloved. But all this are for a serene life with family members and all the bitterness of sweat can be wiped off by a simple smile of your beloved.

Life is a road fulll of stumbling blocks. His scanners are hard to be sold, his wife is extremely unsatisfied with the tough life, his life is almost destroyed because of lacking money. On a raining night, his wife, Linda, took his boy away. He rushed home, and he thought of Tomas Jefferson, the Declaration of Independence...and the part about our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."and I remember thinking: how did he know to put the 'pursuit' in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue.And maybe we can actually never have it...no matter what. How he know that?".I saw his intelligence sparkled with his tear. One has to undergo something to be mature. Maybe, Plain life doesn't generate deep thoughts.

His life was getting harder and was superficially driven into a corner. While he was only left with 21 dollars and 33 cents in his bank account, he said that he was brought back to reality. What would I do if I was only left with ＄21.33？I think I would cry and turn to help. But Chris didn't act like that. He chose to keep trying hard to take care of his little Christopher.

I remember clearly that he shouted to Linda, "Christopher stay with me!"

I remember that he asks his little boy to kiss him goodbye everyday.

I remember that he asks his lovely C "DO YOU TRUST ME?" so many times. I thought he was tired out at that time. Only by relying on the love for his son can he gain more strength.

I remember the words that " Hey! Don't ever let somebody tell you... you can't do something. Not even me. All right?". That's what we Chinese parents should learn.

I remember that when they have no where to go, he lied to his poppet that his machine was a time machine and little C was so sensible that he did cooperate with his father, and move into the "cave", the toilet in a metro station. Chris tried hard to hold against the door, cover Christopher's ears to enable him sleep relatively well. That strong man wept silently and sorely for his poor boy.

Until the ending, the light of hope emerged.

Maybe, we should have determined belief in something, the dream, ourselves, our beloved, and do wahtever we can to acquire our happiness. Keep pursuing happiness, and we can see the break of dawn.

Seven Colour Life [随笔杂谈]

DO U LIKE RAINBOW?

Do you have a seven color umbrella? Do you want one?

Have you ever had the ides of buying clothes of seven colors? Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and so on.

Do you know? Every color has its unique fragrance.

Red smells like a strawberry; orange boasts the smell of orange; yellow makes one think of the flavor of banana; green sends out the smell of Hami melon; blue gives out the fragrance of blueberry while the purple is the smell of grape.

You can paint on you book so that study life can become colorful. It's just like that you give your books fruit juices to drink, and you should believe that they would be happy.

You can wear seven color clothes thus your smile boasts different fragrance of different color, expressing diverse emotions. It's just like offering your emotions ice creams of different flavors.

Isn't it wonderful?
