1.Use the above sentence patterns to talk something about The British
Isles（大不列颠群岛）.
Sample Dialogue:
A:Where are you from?
B:I’m from England.
A:Do you mean you are from UK?

A:Oh,I see.UK is made up of three parts,England,Scotland and Wales.
B:No exact.Northern Ireland also belongs to UK.England,Scotland and
Wales make up the island of Great Britain.

B:Yes.The Great Britain lies off the west coast of France.It is situated
on the east bank of the Atlantic Ocean and it is located to the east of the
Ireland.
A:Oh.Now I’ve got a general idea of UK and the Great Britain.Thank you
very much.
B:Not at all.
2.Look at the map of Asia and describe the positions of the countries
around China with the given sentence patterns.
Sample Answers:
Mongolia is located to/on the north of Inner Mongolia.
Russia lies to the north of China and in the north of Asia.
India is situated to the south of Tibet.
South Korea lies to the east of China across the Yellow Sea.
Pakistan is located to/on the west of China.
Malaysia,Singapore and Indonesia are to the south of China and in the
south of Asia.And so on....
