【解析】用whose代替her引起定语从句,修饰先行词the monitor。
2. 如你所知，他已经前往澳大利亚了。
【误】 As you know it, he has left for Australia.
【正】 As you know , he has left for Australia.
【解析】关系代词as作know的宾语,再使用it就重复了。
　3. 正同我想的那样，会议被延期了。
【误】The meeting was put off, that was exactly what we wanted.

7. 我们到达Winchester这个小镇前，已经是傍晚了。

【正】It was evening before we reached the little town of Winchester.
【解析】before引导的时间状语从句表示在“在……之前”。我们到达Winchester这个
小镇前，已经是傍晚了。此处不是强调句型，故不能用that。
8. 玫瑰花需要仔细的照料，为了能够活过整个冬天。
【误】Roses need special care because they can live through winter.
【正】Roses need special care so that they can live through winter.
【解析】so that
引导目的状语从句，意思为“以便”，后面的从句中有情态动词出现；because
表示原因，不符合句意的表达和逻辑推理。
9. 无论你有多少工作要做，你应该试图在夜里睡好觉。
【误】You should try to get a good night’s sleep no matter how much work
you have to do.
【正】You should try to get a good night’s sleep however much work you
have to do.
【解析】however后接形容词或副词引导让步状语从句，并且引导的句子要倒装，意
思是“无论……”；no matter how
尽管也有这个意思，但是它往往位于句子前部，并且引导的从句不倒装。
10. 在世界上爱好和平的各方的努力下，伊朗幸免于战争之苦。
【误】With great efforts of the peace-loving people all over the world,
Iran survived from the war.
【正】With great efforts of the peace-loving people all over the world,
Iran survived the war.
【解析】survive此处用作及物动词，表示幸免于…… 。
