I've done personal teaching for 2 years now. Out of some of them, 3 ended up going to America to continue to study, and one to Canada. Some of the students when I first began teaching, were shy and could not speak much english. But I was able to help them over a period of time not only with their english skills, but with their self confidence. One of the students that I taught won multiple prizes for speaking competitions for all around Zhejiang, performed (in English) Disney's Mulan in Hong Kong, and performed "Let it Snow" in Beijing for another competition. I'm always available when my students need some extra help because I feel that having a good friendship with them will help their self-esteem and make them less shy when speaking. 一对一家教2年的经验。我曾帮助3个学生去了美国,1个去了加拿大,其中一些学生我刚开始教时并不会说英语,因为害羞而不能张口说很多。所以在教学中我不仅是在教孩子们如何提高英语技巧,同时也在帮助他们加强自信心。我还曾帮助其中一个12岁的学生在浙江省的英语演讲比赛多次获得一等奖,甚至到香港演出迪斯尼的《花木兰》,到北京表演《冰雪皇后》;学生课余时间需要英语方面的帮助,我都会无偿帮助他们,因为我认为与学生建立友谊能够帮助他们加强自信心,使得他们在讲英语的时候不再害羞,有利于他们将来可能遇到的英语环境的生活。
