笔者曾经在一些初三学生的英语练习中见到这样一道改错题：“The  driver  sits  at  the  front  of  the  bus .”参考答案是把at改为in：“The  driver  sits  in  the  front  of  the  bus .”

实际上，改了以后的句子和原来的句子都是正确的，而且意思完全相同：“司机坐在公共汽车的前部。”也就是说，“at  the  front  of …”和“in  the  front  of …”都可以表示“在 …… 的前部”，只是后者比前者更加常用罢了。例如：
