浅议too…to结构的肯定用法

too..to结构表示“太…而不能…”，是否定意义。如 ：

He is too careless to be chosen to do this kind of work.

他初心了而不能被选去做这种工作。

但在下情况下，too…to结构表示肯定意义。

1.        形容词ready, glad, willing, delighted, anxious等用在too..to结构中，意思是

very…to.. “非常…以至于能…”.

I’m too ready to lend you a hand。

非常乐意帮助你忙。

2.        only too, simply too, just too, but too等表示very,用在too…to中表肯定意义。

I shall be only too glad to help you.

我真高兴能给你帮助。

3.        too…to结构在否定句中表肯定。

He is never too old to learn.

活到老，学到老。

He is too clever not to see the trick.

他太聪明了，毕竟会看清这诡计。
